Relationship & Communication
At Relational Therapy Collective, we understand how much our relationships — with partners, family, friends, and coworkers — shape our daily wellbeing. Difficulties in these connections are among the most common concerns people bring to therapy, whether that looks like chronic conflict, communication breakdowns, trust ruptures, or the strain of navigating change (separation, blended families, shifting caregiving roles).
Our approach focuses on understanding the patterns beneath the struggle, building stronger communication and conflict-resolution skills, and supporting healthier, more secure connections. We offer support for individuals, couples, and families.
What We Help With
Our Approach
Chronic conflict or recurring arguments
Difficulty communicating needs or feelings
Trust ruptures or betrayal
Feeling disconnected from a partner, family member, or friend
Attachment-related patterns (anxious, avoidant, or ambivalent dynamics)
Difficulty adjusting to relational transitions (separation, blended families, new caregiving roles)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) — Helps identify and shift negative interaction cycles to build a more secure emotional bond.
Attachment-Based Therapy — Explores how early relational patterns shape current ways of connecting and conflict.
Communication & Conflict-Resolution Skills — Practical tools for expressing needs, listening effectively, and de-escalating conflict.
Family Systems — Looks at roles and patterns within the family or relationship system to support healthier dynamics.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) — Explores the different "parts" within each person to build self-compassion and internal harmony, which supports healthier relational patterns.
Psychoeducation — Helps clients understand relational patterns and what to expect from the therapeutic process.
