Therapy for Teens & Families

Making the choice to begin counseling is often a difficult decision that takes courage and vulnerability. As your counselor, Nina is in the unique position to engage you in this transformative process of healing. Her goal is to help you explore issues that prevent you from living the life you want, encourage you to explore your emotions and assist in autonomous decision-making. Through the therapeutic relationship, Nina hopes to empower you to know yourself more fully so that you can deepen the quality of connection within your relationships.

It is Nina’s fundamental belief that a successful counseling relationship is not one size fits all and that meeting you exactly where you are at is an incredibly powerful way to begin this journey.

About Nina

Nina has spent most of her life in Washington State.  She moved to Spokane at the age of 9 where she attended Eastern Washington University, completing a bachelor's degree in chemistry and business administration.  After a few traumatic life experiences in her 20’s and reading Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, A Long Walk to Freedom, Nina decided to pursue a Master's Degree from Gonzaga University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  In the fall of 2019, Nina’s husband was recruited for a position at an engineering firm in Seattle and they jumped at the opportunity to raise their son in a city with such incredible diversity and numerous major league sports teams!

Throughout her graduate studies and professional career, Nina has worked in a private practice providing mental health services to folks from all walks of life, gender and sexual identities, and relational difficulties. Her passion remains the same: offering a safe and non-judgmental space to those who are ready to witness their own uniqueness.
